Enough of this teasery nonsense....here's the latest progress on this lil guy.....
Here's my initial WiP sketch of 'Bomb Disposal Bunny' using a figure called 'Olee' by marine/Jouwe.....
....plenty more work to be done here even though the figure is quite
small, standing around 8cm tall. Hopefully more will be added over the
weekend.
The Blimp is about 12.2" inches long and 7.5" around, the gondola is about 8"long and suspended from sturdy monofilament cradles.
Only 2 will be at the M Modern show (Dave Pressler's first solo show), more are on the way. They are a limited edition and no two will be alike. Sculpted, moulded, cast and painted by Mr Pressler himself, each blimp will have a hand sculpted pilot character, and each one will be signed and numbered.
Yet more excellent work from the mind of Dave Pressler....hot on the heels of 'Angry Clobber Monkey'. There will be an ongoing 'making of' piece about the blimp on his blog starting next week.
